I completed ‘God’s Hand’ about a week ago. I actually really enjoyed working on this piece and I had a vision for how I wanted things to flow.
This piece reflects the unexpected ways God’s hand shows up in our lives. Not always through grand gestures, but through moments of kindness, chance encounters, and subtle glimmers.
Help finds me in ways I never anticipate. Sometimes it appears right when I need it. Other times, it comes when I believe I figured it out on my own, only for hindsight to reveal that it was an unseen hand carrying me through. These moments are what renews, my sometimes waning faith in people, and strengthens my faith in God.
The circular imagery throughout the piece represents the many things we are constantly juggling in life…both visible and invisible. Depending on the angle from which you choose to perceive them, each circle holds its own purpose. Some burdens ground us. Some teach empathy. Some help to anchor and build strength.
